Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) For general information and advice, your local CAB office can give free, confidential advice
Department of Work and Pensions can help with advice and support on working in the UK and accessing benefits
Libraries a good local resource for information and often with free internet access at the library if you become a member
Doctors It is important to register with a local GP, if you change address, you must re- register with a local doctor
Clubs and Societies if you want to meet people in the local area, joining clubs and societies with special interests would be a good idea. Information can be found in libraries.
